Alves to Arsenal
Last year, Dani Alves was quoted as saying:
“The idea that I might finish my career without going to the Premier League, it is not possible.
“For sure, this is the most amazing football in the world. First, because of the respect for the players from the fans, and then because of the passion on the pitch.
“If I can play, that would be perfect, but I will make it there one way or the other.”
The Sun have now reported that Alves is looking for a move to London side Arsenal to that end. He is reportedly even willing to take a pay cut. The Brazilian superstar was earning a hefty £230k-a-week at PSG. He is willing to shave of 30k off that amount and settle for £200k-a-week wages.

However, Arsenal might have trouble picking up the wage bill as their budget is very limited this time around. On their part though, Arsenal have shaved off £410,000-per-week off their wage budget after the departures of Aaron Ramsey, Petr Cech, Danny Welbeck, Stephan Lichtsteiner and David Ospina this summer.
Could Dani Alves be on his way to Arsenal? If he does join Unai Emery’s side, he could prove to be a valuable acquisition and help them towards their goal of a top 4 finish.
