In a dramatic Los Angeles derby between LA Galaxy and LA FC, Zlatan Ibrahimovic left his footprint with a hat-trick. The Swedish International scored thrice assisting Galaxy to win the game 3-2 in front of a jam-packed stadium.
In the Western Conference, LA Galaxy were 12 points behind the table-toppers Los Angeles FC. However, the lead was chopped to nine points, thanks to an extraordinary performance from the former Manchester United striker.
The 37-year-old, who has blemished his opponents in Europe over the last two decades, did no harm to his reputation with his first hat-trick in the United States. The LA Galaxy striker swarmed past a defender to score an exquisite volley within first ten minutes of the game to equalize the score.
When the game was not slowing down owing down to heated atmosphere within the stadium, Zlatan took full authority. He leapt a defender to slot the ball past the helpless goalkeeper. The Galaxy further extended the lead when he scored a thunderous strike from outside the box to increase the lead to two goals, with twenty minutes until the final whistle. Carlos Vela, who scored the first goal in this game, pulled one back in the stoppage time, but it was nothing but just a consolation goal for Los Angeles FC.

The Swedish International has notched up 16 goals and 3 assists in 17 appearances this term. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been performing on a consistent basis since his arrival at the club. Fans are rightly acknowledging his tremendous displays week in week out.
LA Galaxy’s turmoil did not continue this season after the club failed to qualify for the playoffs last campaign. His adulation is gaining along with his goal amongst the LA Galaxy fans.
