Watch Harry Kane goal Vs Juventus: Harry Kane scores a half-line wonder goal against Juventus as the English striker’s strike secure a 3-2 victory.
Tottenham faced Juventus in a pre-season friendly match in Singapore. The match between both the sides was a treat for the fans as both the teams were involved in an exciting contest.
However, thanks to a wonder striker by Harry Kane in the dying minutes of the game to award the London based club a victory against the Italian Champions.
The game started with an intense battle, but a deadlock remained till the 30th minute of the game, until Erik Lamela scored the initial goal. Although, the lead by Tottenham Hotspurs soon got equalized by Gonzalo Higuain’s strike.
Later, Cristiano Ronaldo gave a significant lead, after he slamed the ball into the roof of the net. However, an immediate response by Lucas Moura levels the score once again.
But, the talk of the match is Kane’s magnificent strike in the final minutes of the game. The goal by the English International left everyone in awe, as he fires an instinctive shot from the halfway line, and it impossibly loops over Wojciech Szczesny to see Tottenham securing the victory.
To everyone’s surprise, the game seemed to enter the penalties, as both the teams did not seem to pose a threat until Kane made an incredible strike.
It was an erroneous game-play by Juventus’ defense, as the Italians succumbed to the pressure made by Lucas Moura in the middle of the park. The Brazilian later found Kane, who scored a glorious goal with probably a 40-yard-strike.
However, credits goes to Kane, who showed his presence of mind, and confidence to make a bold move near the half-line and considering the goal proved to be a winner in the final minute, adds up the excitement.
On the other side, Szczesny’s wrong position also costed Juventus a win against the English giants, and caused a howler. If the game had been in an European competition, it would probably have been the moment of the season.
