Jurgen Klopp believes Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita at disposal is good enough to fill the shoes in the creativity department.

Jurgen Klopp turned down the chance of a possible reunion with Philippe Coutinho at Liverpool once again. The Brazilian was offered to the reigning Champions League winners, but the former Borussia Dortmund manager did not want him because of the massive downhill he faced at Barcelona.

After getting surplus to requirements in Nou Camp, his representatives had a quick chat with Liverpool – which they believed would be his first choice. However, the English side had clearcut thoughts and stated their intentions to stay away from a loan deal with an option to buy next summer.

Bayern Munich have opted to pay £8.5 million loan fees and his ludicrous £250,000 per week wages to keep him in Allianz Arena for the upcoming season. Since the loan deal would estimate to £21 million, the Reds bowed out of the temporary transfer.

When Coutinho was offered back to Liverpool, the board had a quick chat about how Coutinho would fit back into the team. They believed that he would not improve the starting eleven and did not decide to gamble.

As per the reliable James Pearce, Jurgen Klopp is convinced that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita would thrive this season. The Englishman started the first league game in 16 months after a lengthy injury lay-off, while the Guinean is grappling for his fitness.

There are no second thoughts about the quality available at stake for the duo, which has forced Klopp to trust that pair. The former Arsenal midfielder produced a good display against Southampton and could warrant a starting place in the upcoming days.

Since Philippe Coutinho left in a sour manner, the fanbase is split over his possible Anfield comeback. Despite these claims, the return of the attacking midfielder would not haunt the dressing room and there’s no ill towards him. In fact, Jurgen Klopp wished him well for a loan move to Bayern Munich.
