Manchester United fans are raving about the 17-year-old Helm who shadows Wayne Rooney’s gameplay.
Manchester United fans are regarding the 17-year-old Helm highly after witnessing his gameplay. The Red Devils fans think that the young forward resembles their legend Wayne Rooney, who is currently plying his trade with DC United.
The run-up and technique are identical and of course the number 10 at the back of the shirt reminds them of their club’s record scorer.

Mark Helm, who plays for Manchester United U18’s side, looks scarily like Wayne Rooney in this. Same run up and technique, same number…even the same celebration. pic.twitter.com/mWEQMF5Xhn

This isn’t the first time Manchester United faithful have compared one of their young stars to one of their former strikers. Young Mason Greenwood, who scored against Astana and Rochdale, was earlier likened to Robin Van Persie. His identical touch and running style are the reasons he’s compared with the Dutch legend.
“Mason Greenwood scored a stunning goal…”
“It almost reminded me of @Persie_Official chopping on that left foot!”
Owen Hargreaves saw shades of RVP about that goal from the latest academy graduate to come good for Man Utd 🇾🇪

Rooney, meanwhile, will be back playing in England in January after signing an 18-month contract with Championship side Derby County.
The England legend’s stint in the MLS with D.C United will come to an end and his £100,000-a-week deal at Pride Park will also see him work towards becoming a coach.
