Mohamed Salah produces outrageous backheel finish to score second goal vs Watford as Liverpool continued their winning run in the Premier League.

Liverpool romped to yet another victory in the Premier League; Their 16^th in 17 matches. They have now widened the gap between themselves and defending Champions Manchester City to 17 points and they have Mohamed Salah to thank for that.

Liverpool bought the ball forward to the opposition box in search for their second goal. He picked out Divock Origi, who had come in for Roberto Firmino, but he miss-hit his shot. The ball found its way to Salah, who then deftly flicked the ball into the net with a brilliant backheel.

The points difference between Liverpool and all the other teams in the Premier League has now reached double figures. A maiden Premier League title looks a certainty at this point unless Liverpool defy logic and fall short yet again.

Jurgen Klopp will realise that a performance like today would have been severely punished against another side. He will hope to produce a better performance when they take to the Premier League immediately after Christmas against Leicester City.
