Christian Pulisic Injury: Chelsea star picks hamstring injury against Arsenal; set to miss Bayern Munich clash
Christian Pulisic Injury: Chelsea superstar picks up a hamstring injury in the FA Cup final clash against Arsenal, marks the end of his campaign.
Chelsea had a string of horrors against Arsenal in the FA Cup final clash at the Wembley. The biggest setback was the injury that happened to Christian Pulisic in the second half of the game.
In the 49th minute of the game, Pulisic was striding away with the ball and just when he was about to shoot, he pulled his hamstring and falls down on the pitch with massive pain.
This was the second player Chelsea lost in the game due to hamstring, as in the first half, Cesar Azpilicueta was forced to leave the pitch with the same injury.
Pulisic then was replaced by Pedro, who by the end of the game injured his shoulder and was taken off from the pitch by a stretcher. Now, the Blues will be without Pulisic for their last clash of the season against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
A string of injuries and bad refereeing
Chelsea had an off-day at work, with everything going against them and alleged bad decisions by the referee which cost Chelsea the tie and probably benefitted Arsenal in picking their 14th FA Cup title.
Although, it cannot be denied that Chelsea had an off-game too, with no player making an exceptional performance. Still, nothing can excuse unfair refereeing decisions.

Meanwhile, three injuries forced Lampard to make panic substitutions, which definitely favoured Arsenal in the game. With this triumph, Arsenal has secured their tryst to Europa League that was not granted with their league finish.
As for Chelsea, they have already qualified for the Champions League, but have gone trophyless this season, with no sights of toppling Bayern Munich’s mighty 3-0 lead at Allianz Arena.
