“If Giannis Antetokounmpo was a Warriors player instead of Kevin Durant, nobody would complain”: Max Kellerman makes controversial statement about Bucks star
Max Kellerman threw his weight behind Giannis Antetokounmpo, defending the two-time MVP using Kevin Durant as an example.
The Greek Freak is 26 years old today and smack in the middle of his athletic prime. Many believed that the Bucks star would be on the move over the summer. He did take an awfully long time to agree upon the biggest contract in league history with the team that drafted him.
But given that he’s now committed his future fully to the Wisconsin city, there will be little slack cut for him. Giannis will get constant reminders that he passed on the chance for sureshot success. Many will call it the ‘KD syndrome’ or the ‘LeBron syndrome’ – a desire to ensure victory with a superteam.
Giannis believes that he can lead the Bucks to a championship someday. He has good reason for his beliefs too. James won his first title in his age 27 season. Jordan did it at 28. There’s still time. The clock isn’t exactly ticking away from him.
Max Kellerman says difference between Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant is rings only
Former boxing expert Max Kellerman clearly is still settling into life as a basketball fan. The guy has some real nonsensical and irrational takes about players he takes a liking to.
Max kellerman said giannis was better than kd, kd would have made both those free throws

Kellerman believes that the only difference between Giannis and KD is their count of rings. In his haste to heap praise on the Greek Freak, he’s seemed to forget one thing – KD is a real shooter unlike Giannis. If Giannis could do everything KD could, he’d be the GOAT over LeBron and MJ.
