Matt Hardy criticizes Vince McMahon for creating ‘The Hardy Bros’. He accused the WWE Chairman of attempting to confuse the marketplace.

Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy are arguably the best tag team the WWE have ever had. The Hardy Boyz, as they were known together, took tag team wrestling to new heights and Matt is convinced that the WWE is obsessed with recreating that magic.

So much so in fact, that he suggests, his brother was paired with a different ‘Matt’ and dubbed them the ‘Hardy Bros’ to confuse the marketplace. The AEW Star took to YouTube to share his thoughts on the new team and he had no kind words to spare for either the team or Vince.

“If someone ever asked you ‘who the greatest tag team of all time is?’, it is the Hardy Boyz,” Matt Hardy said. “As a matter of fact, Vince McMahon is so obsessed with the greatest and popularity and the success of the Hardy Boyz that he has created the Hardy Bros, and he has put together another guy named Matt with my brother Jeff, to try and recreate the magic that we once had.”

“He is trying to confuse the marketplace because he still wishes he had the Hardy Boyz,” he continued. The Hardy Bros with Jeff and Matt ‘Riddle’, that’s not going to work.”

“You would have had a better chance with the Fake Razor and Fake Diesel. And remember this, if you are ever asked, ‘Who is the greatest tag team of all time?’ It’s a simple, easy answer; The Hardy Boyz are the greatest tag team of all time. The truth…is the truth!”
