“Hope he has a better Cleveland career than me”: Heat legend Dwyane Wade hilariously wishes good luck on Cavs career to Dean Wade
Former NBA star Dwyane Wade has a hilarious take on the Cavs having a new D-Wade, wishing him the best for a good time in Cleveland.
If you haven’t seen a Cavaliers game in recent time, do not get shocked when you read the name D-Wade on the roster. The 6’9 forward was picked up by the Cavs in the July of 2019 and is now in his second season with the team.
It can be said with confidence that even Dwyane Wade was taken by surprise when he read the name on the roster. He had his unique style of reacting to it, and wished the young forward success with the team.

Dwyane Wade and his time in Cleveland
Dwyane Wade was picked up by the Cavs in 2017. He played 46 games for the team, before being traded to the Heat for a second-round pick. D Wade did not have the best time with the Cavs.
During his tenure in Cleveland, the ‘Flash’ just averaged 11.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in 23.2 minutes per contest. These numbers, while not be bad for a bench player, were a drastic downgrade for the 13x All-Star. Twitter users had their fun reacting to Dwyane Wade’s tweet.
This one user would like to forget D.Wade’s time in Cleveland, and just remember the times in Miami and Chicago.
How do you mean? You only played in Miami and Chicago pic.twitter.com/R6FvXmyL4s

Another user called the image of Wade in a Cavs jersey ‘cursed’.

Meanwhile, a third user claims to not remember D.Wade ever being on the Cavs.

On the other hand, Dean Wade has seemed to make his way into the Cavs rotation this year. After only playing 12 games last season, Dean has played 6 of Cavs’ 7 games. He still has to make his impact felt, as he has averaged 1.7 points and 1 rebound in 10.5 minutes of play.
