Marcus Stoinis catch vs Heat: The all-rounder from Melbourne Stars continued to entertain his fans via a commendable fielding effort in BBL 10.

During the 32nd match of the ongoing 10th season of the Big Bash League between Brisbane Heat and Melbourne Stars in Carrara, Melbourne Stars all-rounder Marcus Stoinis put on display a commendable fielding effort to dismiss Brisbane Heat opening batsman Max Bryant.

It all happened on the fourth delivery of the seventh over when Bryant’s attempt of playing an ambitious cover drive off Stars spinner Adam Zampa saw him lose his wicket after a brisk 68-run opening partnership alongside captain Chris Lynn.

Stoinis, who was fielding at cover, was quick to try and catch the ball but the excessive force with which the ball was hit played spoilsport initially. Sharp reflexes aided the 31-year old player to turn back and complete the catch in not the second but the third attempt.

Bryant, 21, departed after scoring 31 (23) with the help of four fours and a six. Zampa, on the other hand, sent back Joe Denly (0) on the first ball that he faced to pick a couple of wickets in his second over.

After rain reduced the match to a 17-over contest, Stars captain Glenn Maxwell won the toss and opted to field. Another rain interruption during the eighth over of the innings has it in it to further shorten the match.
