Weather at Rawalpindi cricket stadium: The SportsRush presents for you the detailed weather prediction for the second PAK vs SA Test.

During the first day of the second Test of the ongoing South Africa’s tour of Pakistan in Rawalpindi, Pakistan captain Babar Azam and batsman Fawad Alam have shared an unbeaten 123-run partnership for the fourth wicket to put together a rescue act.

After Azam won the toss and chose to bat, Pakistan lost their top three batsmen for not many runs on the board. The likes of Imran Butt (15), Azhar Ali (0) and Abid Ali (6) were discussed within four overs in the first session to leave the team in trouble.

However, it was Azam and Alam who made it a point to both save their wickets and score runs at the same time. Alam, the senior of the two, took his time but the same should be the least of Pakistan’s concerns knowing how well the southpaw can concert his starts.

The first two sessions on Day 1 saw Pakistan scoring 145/3 in 58 overs as the players returned to their respective dressing rooms for the tea break.

Talking about the weather forecast in Rawalpindi, it is surprising how rain is playing spoilsport despite a clear weather forecast. Barring a couple of patches of cloudy weather, the weather is highly likely to remain clear today which should please the cricketing fraternity.

Therefore, the ongoing rain delay shouldn’t be an elongated one. As far as the second day of the Test is concerned, it is expected to be a sunny day without any rain interruption.
