Five conditions Real must meet to bring Neymar to Bernabeu
If Florentino Perez has any hope of signing Neymar, he must meet 5 conditions laid down by the Brazilian.
Neymar joined PSG only last summer for a world record fee of £200 million, but has already built up speculation on a move away. The potential suitors being Real Madrid.
Neymar had a very public falling out with PSG talisman Cavani this season. Reports also state that he doesn’t meet the eye of coach Unai Emery either.
A grand welcome at the Spanish capital:
The men from Bernabeau have already given out words in favour of the 25-year old’s arrival. Sergio Ramos and Casemiro both stated that they would welcome him to the Spanish capital.
The former Barcelona man has been a target for Perez for a long time. Madrid almost signed him during the summer of 2013. They lost him to rivals Barcelona, and instead signed James Rodriguez from Monaco.
“Being at Madrid would make it easier for Neymar to win it [the Ballon d’Or],” said Perez. “Madrid is a club that gives big players what they need.”
Spanish news outlet Diario Gol now report that Neymar has laid down 5 conditions Real have to satisfy for a transfer to materialize.
Neymar’s Five Conditions to facilitate a return:
Madrid must wait until 2019 to land the £200million man – meaning he spends both this year and next with PSG.
Cristiano Ronaldo departs – the Portuguese will be 34 in the summer of 2019.
He arrives and is the undoubted No.1, thus avoiding a Cavani-like situation
He becomes Madrid’s poster-boy, with the club marketing him to help ensure his push for the Ballon d’Or.
He becomes the highest-paid player in the world.
Neymar has bagged an impressive 17 goals and 14 assists season. PSG are set to face off against Real Madrid in the Champion’s League. They have a team capable of lifting the old trophy, but whether they go all the way heavily depends upon the Brazilian’s form.
