WATCH: MS Dhoni and Hardik Pandya combine to give India a team hattrick
The Indian bowling unit has dished out a sublime performance on a batting paradise at the Wanderers to ‘choke’ the South African batting line up.
The run-chase was always going to be a stiff one for South Africa, with the already shattered confidence and a number in excess of 200 on the board.
The start however was bright for South Africa, with both Smuts and Hendricks playing some quality cricket to provide the middle order with a good platform to launch from.
The middle order though, comprising of Miller and Duminy, couldn’t come to the party tonight(yet again), making it really difficult for the inexperienced South African side to keep pace with the asking rate.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar was at the top of his game today, having been rested in the last game. The opening spell had some tight bowling on display, with Bhuvi mixing up his stock delivery with knuckle ball and the slower leg cutters.
He ended up getting a 5-wicket haul, becoming only the 2nd Indian bowler to take a 5-for in T20I.
India also ended up with a team hattrick, as Klaasen and Morris got holed out to Bhuvi, trying to tonk him out of the ground.
Patterson then squatted on to point, with Pandya having half stopped it. He then turned around to throw it quickly back to Dhoni, who ripped off the bails to help India complete a rare team hattrick.

Match Situation
India have outplayed South Africa in the first T20, having won it by 28 runs. Dhawan and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar were stand out performers for India.
South Africa have a lot to think about, as they have been outplayed by India in the limited overs format until now, having just won that solitary, rain curtailed game at Jo’Burg.
