CSK have a brilliant message for all their fans
CSK endured what was one of the most magical IPL seasons you’ll ever witness. With two teams returning and a fresh auction held just before the event, IPL 2018 was always going to be special.
But it wouldn’t have been so if CSK wouldn’t have managed to win IPL 2018 and give its fans all over the country so much joy and satisfaction.
It was a fairytale comeback for the Chennai franchise, with MS Dhoni winning them their 3rd title at the Wankhede in front of boisterous crowd. It just brought back so many memories for the average cricket romantic in India.
And all this after CSK were forced to move out of their comfort zone, as Chennai wasn’t deemed fit to hold any home games this season because of political tension in the area.
The team that had been prepared for the Chennai surface now suddenly had to turn to Pune, and trust MS Dhoni’s instinct and experience of having played there to take them through.
And like so many times in the past, MS Dhoni managed to pull the rabbit out of the hat.
The best part about the campaign was also how different players stepped up during different stages of the tournament to help CSK get over the line.
Ultimately it all culminated with Watson taking CSK home in what was one of the best IPL finals knocks.
With the season done and dusted, CSK have now come up with a special tweet for their fans and all the doubters.
