Max Verstappen Snubs Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc In Hopes of New Rivalry on F1 Grid
Max Verstappen is a fairly new champion in the sport- having faced Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc as his only rivals. The Dutch Lion has been relentless on the track. Now, as the new season presents him with another opportunity of keeping his crown, Verstappen reveals the one person he wouldn’t mind making his run a bit more difficult.
Verstappen has had a bit of both- a tough, dramatic championship season with Hamilton, and an effortless and breezy one against Leclerc. Up for a new challenge, Verstappen looks beyond Mercedes and Ferrari to the underdogs- Aston Martin.
Max Verstappen picks his best bud- Fernando Alonso
Fernando Alonso in the green tub has been a disastrous combination for the rest of the grid. The double-world champion has left jaws on the floor with his performance during the first few sessions of the season opener. Now, with quali out of the way, polesitter Max Verstappen ignores his rivals and hopes to meet Alonso on the track.

Not too sure of fighting with the Ferrari duo, the Red Bull leading man shows his excitement for Alonso. “Aston Martin has also been very fast and I hope Fernando joins in, which is great for Formula 1”
However, it’s not just the race where Verstappen wants to watch the Super Max v Magic Alonso show. “I love seeing him there, fighting at the top, and I hope to be able to fight with him, although I also want to win.”

With two lions battling it out in the colosseum of motorsports, we are in for an exciting season ahead. Could Alonso actually be a potential title challenger? Only time will tell.
Fernando Alonso is on the prowl for success
Having finally got a car suited for victories, Alonso is not holding back. Even before the car hit the tarmac, the man with over 20 F1 seasons against his name felt it in his heart. “It has to be an ambitious project. It has to be a project that wants to win, a project that will take anything and will do everything to make it happen.”
The Silverstone outfit had impressed its newcomer from the get-go. “There is this talent and this hunger for success, success, and success.”
And so far, with Alonso, the “success success success” mindset has been evident as the Spaniard hasn’t dropped below the top five in any of the sessions in Bahrain. As Alonso faces his first race of the season, it goes without a doubt that El Nano will fight his hardest to win.
