Carlos Sainz Reveals 45-Minute Long “Huge” Indulgence Worth Travelling 48 Hours For
Carlos Sainz has revealed the reason why he loves coming to Australia often. The Ferrari star, who talked about this during this year’s Australian Grand Prix revealed the “huge” reason behind his love for the Oceanic country.
Sainz has always been a food buff from day one. Apart from a few occasions where he shares his interesting choice, the Spanish driver, is often seen to be trying out various dishes from all over the world. He does this during his free time or for promotional purposes and has never shied away from showcasing his love for food.
On a similar occasion such as this, where he could boast his eating ability, the Smooth Operator used it to say his favorite thing to do in Australia and why he loves coming back to this place despite the 48-hour flight to the island.
Carlos Sainz unraveled the Australian specialty
During the 2023 F1 Australian Grand Prix, the Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz sat for a talk show ahead of the big Melbourne race, which was later released on F1 Australian Grand Prix’s official YouTube channel.
There, a fan named Chloe asked about the best food Sainz has tried during that week and or his stay in Australia. Answering this, the 28-year-old driver revealed, “There’s no particular food that I tried. But it’s just the breakfast at the hotel are huge. And I love them.”
Following this, the former McLaren star shared that normally he completes his breakfast in 15 minutes, but in Australia, he needs at least 45 minutes.
“To go through my breakfast, through the eggs, through the bacon, the hams…. the sauce, the smoothie, and then I go, the pancakes,” asserted the Spaniard.
To end with, Sainz said when his teammate asks how heavy he is, “When I come to Australia, I like my little treat I give myself… because in Australia the breakfast is best.”
What else Sainz loves about Australia?
Apart from the breakfast and the food, the Madrid man also loves Melbourne. Speaking about it when asked, the 28-year-old stated that he loves the vibe and atmosphere of the city.
Sainz added, “I love the vibe of the city, I atmosphere, I like spending time here.” He also mentioned that he’d have been in the country more than once if it was situated near Europe.
All in all, Carlos Sainz, being a breakfast fanatic and a food buff, Australia surely has given him more than one reason to come and visit. And it is believed he will venture to the land of the Kangaroos more than once for the “treat.”
