Having Seen LeBron James Get Trolled for Butchering Lyrics, Shaquille O’Neal’s Precautionary Steps Exposed by Daughter Amirah

Shaquille O’Neal recently finished the tour for his first-ever album as DJ Diesel. With the Gorilla Warfare tour done and dusted, the Big Diesel is now spending some time with his family. In particular, Shaq has been spending time with his loving daughters. However, this hasn’t worked out too well for the Hall of Famer, as one of his daughters, Amirah, recently exposed him. Taking to her Instagram, Amirah revealed her father’s singing skills, as he struggled to read lyrics off his phone. What she posted, while hilarious, can’t help but make viewers reminisce about LeBron James.

King James has a huge love for music. Unfortunately for him, that doesn’t mean he is particularly good at it. Over the years, LeBron has been caught butchering lyrics on several occasions. The confidence with which he spouts the words on social media is admittedly remarkable. So much so, that artists have even jokingly questioned their own work after hearing The King sing. At the end of the day, it’s all in good jest, but the internet trolls have called Bron out regardless.

Amirah O’Neal exposes her dad Shaquille O’Neal and his precautionary singing technique

In a video that is taking the world by storm, Amirah O’Neal exposed her father Shaquille O’Neal. Seated at the back of the car, Amirah took a video of her father singing. In the video, Shaq can be seen jamming out to Last Stand by Kwabs. While this doesn’t seem out of the ordinary given his musical talent, it’s what The Big Aristotle had in his hand that exposed him.

Perhaps out of precaution, Shaq was singing the lyrics off his phone. Intent on not messing up the lyrics, he likely looked up the song, so that he could sing it without error. After all, several celebrities have been exposed of doing so over the years. This includes his former teammate and good friend of Shaq’s, LeBron James.

Unfortunately for O’Neal, his daughter has no problem embarrassing him online. He certainly wouldn’t have been too pleased about it, but likely brushed it aside. He may have been ratted out by his own daughter, but there is no way he is going to let it ruin his quality time with Amirah and her sister Me’Arah.

At the end of the day, all of this is just familial banter between the O’Neals. They’re always looking for ways to poke fun at one another, showing just how strong their bond is. And, knowing Shaq, while he will forgive this “betrayal”, he will never forget, and will likely exact his revenge on Amirah when she least expects it.

He may not be great at singing but Shaq is a platinum-selling rapper

Shaquille O’Neal’s singing skills could use some work, but that doesn’t mean he’s not musically gifted. Lest we forget, Shaq had a successful run as a rapper. Churning out five albums between 1993 and 1998, Shaq’s rap music was well-received. He even had a platinum album, his first one Shaq Diesel.

But, it’s been a while since Shaq has rapped, and now he is more focused on his work as a DJ. Under the monicker DJ Diesel, O’Neal has sold out plenty of shows, and as mentioned earlier just finished up the tour for his first EDM album, Gorilla Warfare. So, while he could improve his vocal chords, to say he isn’t musical success would be unfair.

It will be interesting to see what Shaq has in store when it comes to his music career. He clearly loves performing and has even given fans hope of returning to the rap genre. But, only time will tell what the four-time NBA Champion will do next. That being said, one thing is for certain, fans will be waiting excitedly.
