Liverpool vs Tottenham: Twitter reacts as Liverpool goes top of table with 2-1 win
Twitter exploded as Liverpool beat Tottenham in a dramatic ending to the game at Anfield. The Merseyside team snatched a winner in the final minute to go top of the table again.
Liverpool reached the top of the table again after a dramatic 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at the Anfield.
Roberto Firmino gave Liverpool the lead in the 16th minute of the game, but the goal was cancelled out in the second half.
Lucas Moura scored the equalizer in the 70th minute with an excellent piece of teamwork. However, it all went to waste for the visitors as Toby Alderweireld scored an unfortunate own goal of Mohamed Salah’s shot to give Liverpool the lead again.
The hosts held on to the lead and have climbed up to the top of the table again. However, Manchester City holds a game’s advantage over the Reds.
Here’s how Twitter reacted..
If Liverpool don’t win the league this season they won’t win it for a long long time. Every fucking thing has gone their way

Sissoko sitter and a scratchy own goal winner in injury time. It’s Liverpool’s title. Major events like that all add up to title wins.

Hugo three points for Liverpool. Lucky to take anything from it, Spurs were dangerous. To win titles you have to be able to play poorly and win.

Unbelievable. Liverpool got away with a sloppy second half, pre-equaliser. What a result though. UP THE REDS!

Rico, Lloris, Pickford, Heaton, Speroni should all be getting Premeier league medals if Liverpool end up winning the league. Am I missing anyone?
Has there ever been a team that’s benefited from goalkeeper errors as much as Liverpool?

Man Utd need to win their games the rest will take care of itself … I’ve seen Liverpool win the league in my lifetime & lived through it so I’ve no doubt I’ll survive if they win it again
