La Liga Match Fixing: Real Valladoid Vs Valencia match fixing got caught with recorded phone calls as an evidence for the Spanish police.
A dark blot on the Spanish football has been embarked as recorded phone calls are intercepted by the Spanish police, which verify the match-fixing scandal during Valencia’s 2-0 win at Real Valladolid on the final matchday of La Liga’s season.
El Mundo, as per Marca, has released the recordings after Valladolid midfielder Borja Fernandez and former players Carlos Aranda and Raul Bravo were charged with crimes including corruption in sport.
However, the three players were released on a bail, after appearing in a court before a judge.
In the recordings it has been found players having a conversation with the dealers, and according to reports, Arnada in one of the released recordings revealed certain details.
“Seven players were bribed, no more. Bet €10,000 and you will win €20,000.”
He also told a friend in another phone conversation:
“Look mate, Valencia are winning the first half and the second, OK? Listen to me, they’re winning the first and second half, OK?
