ALA vs VAL Fantasy Prediction: Valencia look to build on their emphatic win against Real Madrid.
Without a win in four matches before they got ready to faceoff against Real Madrid, Valencia couldn’t have asked for a worse set of results ahead of a fixture which was daunting enough in itself.
With everything stacked against them and no one giving Valencia a chance to emerge unscathed from the tie, the club went looking to stun everyone.
And they did more than just shock everyone. All over Real Madrid, Valencia pulled off what could arguably be their finest display of the season as they thumped Real Madrid 4-1 on the day, a performance which left even the biggest naysayers of the side shellshocked.
The result has the potential of being the catalyst of Valencia’s sojourn in the 2020-21 edition of the La Liga. It was a wholesome display against the table toppers, a performance the side will be looking to build on when it takes on languishing Deportivo Alaves in today’s outing.
Probable Winner
On a resurrection themselves with their last three unbeaten results seeing them squirm their way out of the relegation zone, Deportivo Alaves will by no means just roll over today. However, despite the best of their efforts, we don’t see them pulling off anything from the tie with the side’s appalling attack letting them down.

ALA vs VAL Fantasy Prediction
Goal-keeper
Fernando Pacheco has had a massive role to play in the club embarking on a spree of three matches without a defeat. The shot stopper has not only fortified the side’s defence but has ensured that the ball has moved quickly around the park for his side with his distribution.
Defenders
With Daniel Wass unlocking a new side to his game this season, Valencia have decided to utilise his forte further up the park. Now slotting into the CDM role, he’s not only pulled off a string of tackles and blocks for the side but has gone on to craft the one goal for his side as well.
We are going to be partnering him up with the tenacious duo of Gabriel Paulista who has the one assist as well and Jose Gaya.
Mid-fielders
Carlos Soler’s hattrick ended up not only downing Real Madrid the last time around but leaving them sullied as well. He converted all the three penalties Real Madrid conceded on the day to currently emerge as the top scorer for his side.
Where he’s the side’s top scorer, Lee Kang-In on the other hand has utilised his ability to work his way past tight spaces to pull off the most assists at three.
The imperious Yunus Musah wraps up the trio from the side while the one goal for Tomas Pina sees him be our lone pick from the opposition.
Strikers
Although Deportivo Alaves have provided little of note when it comes to the attacking side of the game, the side will be fancying its chances come today. They are up against a Valencia side which has been clobbered by teams, a backline which has not offered anything in the way of resilience.
It’s a narrative which sees one goal man Joselu and Lucas Perez who has the one assist both link up for us. Maxi Gomez meanwhile brings his three goals to the ranks of our side to see the Valencia man close out our team for the day.
Captain and vice-captain
Those three goals see Gomez be our captain while Soler is the vice-captain.
Fantasy Team
Fernando, Wass, Gaya, Paulista, Soler, Musah, Pina, Lee, Maxi, Joselu, Perez.
