Anthony Martial scores a scintillating goal as Man Utd shreds Man City during the Manchester Derby in the Premier League.
Manchester United have had a mixed campaign so far. They have gone from brilliant to pathetic within days this season. However, when it comes to matches against the big 6 sides, the players have always rose to the occasion.

From the 4-0 humiliation of Chelsea to the gritty 1-1 draw against Liverpool, Manchester United seem to be a completely different side every time the stakes are high. However, no one could have imagined Ole Gunnar Soslkjaer’s side making a mockery out of the famed Manchester side.

In the 28th minute of the match, Daniel James and Anthony Martial combined at speed down the right. Martial received the ball on the edge of the area before spinning swiftly and threading the ball into the bottom right, inches away from Ederson’s fingers.

Earlier in the match, Marcus Rashford converted a penalty to score the opener. With Martial’s goal, United now lead the match 2-0. No team has dominated Pep Guardiola’s side at the Etihad this season. This makes the Red Devils the first side since Liverpool in 2015 to lead the match 2-0 before half-time in an away against City in the Premier League. Frankly though, with the United have dominated the match, they should have already been 4-0 up.
At the moment of writing, Manchester United have carried their 2-0 lead with another half to go. Could Manchester City make a comeback or will United continue their dominance against the top sides in the Premier League? We’ll have our answers within the next hour.
