Antoine Griezmann transfer news: Manchester United make contact to Atletico Madrid amid Barcelona interests

Antoine Griezmann transfer news: Manchester United approaches Atletico Madrid amid interests from Barcelona for French superstar.

Manchester United are vying for attacking reinforcements this summer as the resources upfront have been disappointing this season with their exhibits.

Meanwhile, Antoine Griezmann has announced his decision to leave Atletico Madrid after the end of the season, while releasing a video clip dedicated to the fans.

Thus, Manchester United, according to a report by the Bleacher report, wants to hire the services of the 28-year-old forward to bolster their toothless attack.

It is expected that Los Rojniblancos will only accept a fee near to the French International’s colossal buyout clause of £105 million.

Hence, with the financial backing by the club for this summer. Ole Solskjaer is expected to secure the deal by making the player agree the personal terms with the Red Devils.

On the other hand, Barcelona are the front-runners in the Griezmann’s pursuit and several reports convey that the player is interested to wear the Blaugrana’s colours.

However, on contrary, few Barcelona players are allegedly opposing the move after Griezmann released a documentary last year, where he openly refused Barcelona’s offer, while the latter was on the verge of signing him. This act by him probably has offended the veteran Barcelona players.

Thus, benefiting Manchester United in the chase for the World-Cup winning star. If the Red Devils manage to secure the services of the player then it will be a huge upgrade in the incompetent Manchester United front-line.
