In the process, Rudiger became the first Chelsea defender since John Terry to score a brace in the Premier League.

Earlier in the match, Rudiger broke the deadlock just a minute after halftime when his head connected with a Mason Mount corner. However, Harvey Barnes helped Leicester level the scores 8 minute later when one of his shots deflected of Andreas Christensen and found its way inside the net.

Leicester then took the lead in the 64th minute when Willy Cabellero failed to get back to his net in time, offering Ben Chilwell all the time in the world to put it in. However, the Foxes lead wouldn’t last for much too long either.

The draw leaves Chelsea 8 points behind, Leicester in the points table. However, they are 7 points ahead of Manchester United, Tottenham and Wolverhampton, all of whom are on 7 points currently. However, two of these sides could cut the gap to 4 points by the end of this weekend.
