India U-19 will play two four-day matches and five one-dayers in the island nation.
Earlier, Tendulkar was the part of the group which attended the training camp at Zonal Cricket Academy.
The team for the four-day matches will be led by Delhi’s wicketkeeper-batsman Anuj Rawat. Rawat has represented Delhi in Ranji trophy last year. He was also picked for U-19 Asia Cup in 2017.
Meanwhile, Ayan Juyal will lead the one-day team. He made his List-A debut for Uttar Pradesh last season.
Arjun Tendulkar is a left-arm pacer and a left-handed batsman. He made headlines in the U-19 Cooch Behar Trophy last season, when his five-wicket haul led Mumbai to an innings and 103 run win against Railways.
A few months later, he made a terrific debut in the Spirit of Global Cricket Challenge in Australia. He scored 48 off 27 deliveries against the Hong Kong Cricket Club. He pulled out his name from the Mumbai T20 league later to work on his game.
India will travel to Sri Lanka next month. Rahul Dravid will continue his coaching duties with the India U-19 team after leading them to world cup victory in January this year.
