Arsenal Vs Colorado Rapids Dream11 Prediction: The SportsRush brings you the Dream11 team between Arsenal and Colorado Rapids.

Arsenal will play their first pre-season game against Colorado Rapids as part of the United States tour. The Gunners are in the back of a disappointing season, but they are hoping to redeem themselves ahead of the new campaign.

The outcome might not play a huge part in Unai Emery’s tactics, but several players will get their chance to leave a footprint in the starting eleven. On the other hand, Colorado Rapids, themselves had a poor campaign after managing to finish 11th in the Western Conference.

Uncountable substitutions are available for this game which will hand over the manager to deploy separate teams for the first and second half respectively. The Gunners, without a shadow of a doubt, are the favourites heading into this match.

We shall look at the Dream11 Prediction for the game between Arsenal and Colorado Rapids.

Arsenal Vs Colorado Rapids Dream11 Team

Formation: 3-4-3

GOALKEEPER:

Bernd Leno: Bernd Leno is expected to fare in one half for Arsenal. The German International was decent last campaign, but the defence continuously failed to click as a unit. Besides making plenty of saves, Leno looks the likeliest to hold a clean sheet in this game.

DEFENCE

Sokratis Papastathopoulos: Sokratis Papastathopoulos in the main centre-back for Arsenal the currently. The Greek defender has given his best stabilizing the back four, but individual errors have bite Unai Emery’s back. He makes plenty of timely interventions and tackles.

Sead Kolasinac: Sead Kolasinac is in the back of huge criticism. The Bosnian had plenty of chances to slot in crossed during the first half against Chelsea in the Europa League final, but failed to find his man inside the penalty box. Coming up against weaker opposition, Kolasinac has the higher possibility of shutting down the opposition.

Tommy Smith: Tommy Smith has excellent qualities as a centre-back.  The New Zealand International is comfortable with the ball and likes to play out from the back. Smith is the leader in the backline and the whole defensive shape is efficient because of his commands. He scores goals from set-pieces too.

MIDFIELDERS

Matteo Guendouzi: Matteo Guendouzi showed glimpses of his talent during his first season at the club. The French International likes to dictate the game by sitting back with the defence. Sometimes, Guendouzi likes to get into the box and score goals too.

Cole Bassett: The 17-year-old shone last season and become a huge part of Colorado’s side. He not only likes to get into his own penalty box, but also desires to get into opponent’s penalty tackle with his defensive and offensive play. Bassett scored once and set up once in 15 games last season.

Danny Wilson: Danny Wilson, who spent the majority of his career in the United Kingdom, signed for Colorado Rapids last summer. Upon his arrival at the club, the Scottish International has been utilized in the defensive midfield position since he is comfortable with the ball. Cole Bassett is benefitted because of his presence in the midfield.

Jonathan Lewis: Jonathan Lewis plays through the left attacking flank for Colorado Rapids. He made just five appearances last season, but went on to score thrice in that period. Still learning his trade, Lewis has the breakneck pace to beat the opponent’s defence and score goals.

FORWARDS

Alexandre Lacazette (VC): Arsenal’s player of the year, Alexandre Lacazette was in scintillating form last campaign. The French International acts as a creative and goalscoring outlet for the Gunners. He is known for the latter and can cause disruption to the opponents in that form.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang (C): Pierre Emerick Aubameyang was Arsenal’s top scorer last season, but failed to show up in the Europa League final against Chelsea. The 29-year-old is a clinical striker, who likes to make plenty of runs behind the opponent’s defence. Aubameyang is the likeliest to score for the Gunners.

Kei Kamara: Kei Kamara might be aged 34, but has the knack of scoring goals. The striker was efficient by scoring eight in 19 appearances last season. His inclusion will give joy to Colorado supporters, who are aware of the fact that his physical nature can cause problems to Arsenal’s defence.
