Arsenal will aim to secure a place in the semifinal of the Europa League when the side takes on Napoli.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side suffered a 2-0 loss in the first leg at Emirates, and will hope to derail Arsenal’s campaign as they aim for a comeback in the tie.

Unai Emery realizes the importance of Europa League for Arsenal this season. The side is currently at fourth position in the league, but faces huge competition from Chelsea and Manchester United. Besides, Arsenal’s away record has been poor throughout the league campaign, and the side has three away games still to play.

Goalkeeper: Alex Neret

Arsenal are two goals up in the tie against Napoli, but I put my money on Napoli’s keeper, Alex Neret.

Napoli will push harder to put pressure on Arsenal and bridge the two-goal cushion, and I believe that most of the action will take place in Arsenal’s half. Remember, Arsenal’s record in away games has been poor, even when they’ve won all the away fixtures in the Europa League.

Defenders: Sokratis, Monreal, Koulibaly

I expect Unai Emery to play a three-man backline for this game, because a major emphasis would be on stopping the Napoli attack. Sokratis has been impressive in this season for Arsenal so far, so he goes into my team. Nacho Monreal would accompany.

From Napoli, I’ve selected Koulibaly because he offers significantly in attack as well.

Midfield: Ozil, Xhaka, Allan, Ruiz

Mesut Ozil and Granit Xhaka are in my team because both the players will have a significant role to play in this game. While Ozil would aim to create chances for the striker(s) upfront, Granit Xhaka will attempt to keep the attack at bay, as well as stretch the Napoli defence further.

Forward: Aubameyang (c), Milik (v-c), Insigne

Napoli’s forward line could trouble the Arsenal defence, who has been shaky away from home. Milik and Insigne are likely to take aim on Arsenal’s goal, and I place my money on the duo to provide Napoli with breakthrough.

However, it would be criminal to underrate the Arsenal attack. With Arsenal’s forward line comprising of players like Aubameyang, Ozil and Lacazette, I believe that the side could create enough chances to run away with the game as well.
