Mesut Ozil Confirms That He Will Be Staying At Arsenal Next Year

For all the talk of Alexis Sanchez leaving the club, Arsenal fans must be wondering what is going on with Mesut Ozil.

Their magical German has been awfully quite, while all the frenzy is around Alexis Sanchez. And that is because, according to reports Mesut Ozil is going to stay at Arsenal next year.

This must come as a massive boost to the Arsenal faithful, as this news comes just after the club announced the record breaking transfer of Alexandre Lacazette.

Ozil is extremely pleased with Lacazette’s arrival, as he speaks about how he would have fun with Lacazette on the pitch.

This was another obvious clue that Ozil is planning on staying at Arsenal the next year.

‘I’m really looking forward to it,’ Ozil told Arsenal Player. ‘He’s a very good striker who has scored many goals in Ligue 1, not just this season but in previous seasons too. We’re really happy to have such a class striker here with us.

‘From what I’ve heard, he’s meant to be very good, always hungry for goals and ice-cold when he gets into a scoring position. My friends who follow the French league know him well and have told me that I’ll definitely have fun with him on the pitch.’

‘I hope that he’ll be able to take us further with his goals. I’m sure he’s happy to be here and to be able to play with us, and we’re pleased to be able to assist him and help him to score as many goals as possible.’

Let us see if Sanchez stays at the club as well, because if he does then Arsenal would have a extremely fearsome attacking unit.
