The win was soon followed by even more good news for the fans on Tuesday as Arsenal announced that they have combined with Adidas to release an exclusive throwback clothing range just in time for Christmas.
They will launch a retro capsule featuring the iconic “Bruised Banana” shirt. Alongside the famous jersey, the collection also features a crewneck, tracksuit top and trousers, all inspired by the early 1990s era of Arsenal apparel. The iconic Arsenal bruised banana kit will also feature their old badge alongside the three stripes of Adidas.
The items will be available for sale from Arsenal’s official website and selected adidas stores starting from 9am tomorrow. They made the announcement on their social media with a brilliant video.
