Klavan has won it right at the death!

Liverpool’s first match in 2018 was a tight affair, as Burnley hosted the high flying reds at Turf Moor on new year’s day.

It was a big match for Klopp and Liverpool, as they had to pick up the three points to keep their hopes of a top four finish alive.

Klopp decided to make whole sale changes to his side, as he rested three members of the ‘Fab Four’, with only Sadio Mane getting the nod.

And it proved to be an inspired decision, as it was Mane broke the deadlock and gave Liverpool the lead at the hour mark.

Mane was having yet another poor game, as his form post his come back has been inconsistent to say the least.

But the attacker can always produce a magical moment and change the game in an instant, and he did just that at Turf Moor.

Mane picked up the ball, swiveled and unleashed a fierce left footed shot that found the back of the net.

Burnely came back to tie the match in the 87th minute, before Klavan popped up late in the game to secure the three points for Liverpool!
