Arsenal Lineup Vs Chelsea: Arsenal predicted lineup for Europa League Final | Arsenal News

Arsenal Lineup Vs Chelsea: Here is how Arsenal could lineup against Chelsea in the Europa League final.

Arsenal will face Chelsea in the Europa League final at Baku, Azerbaijan on May 29th. The Gunners will know the equation to play the Champions League next season and will be eager for a victory.

Unai Emery’s side have not experienced good results in the Premier League – especially in the last five games. They were able to win only one in the league, let alone their victory in both the legs against Valencia in the Semifinals before progressing to the all-important finale.

The malfunctioning at the back has made life tougher for the forwards, but they have worked their way to get the team into the comfort zone more often. The midfield has been far too inconsistent because of the lack of experience. Granit Xhaka, despite committing some mistakes, has been Arsenal’s best midfielder albeit Lucas Torreira’s fast growth to Unai Emery’s squad.

At the other side, Chelsea have also been unconvincing as Maurizio Sarri’s side have won just one in last five league games. They were not able to get the better out of Eintracht Frankfurt after the Blues beat the German side on penalties at Stamford Bridge.

Off the field, it has been a total conundrum as both the clubs have returned 6,000 final tickets back to the UEFA. Since Baku is not a major hub in Europe, fans are finding it hard to travel from one part of Europe to another.

In this article, we shall look at Arsenal’s team news.

INJURIES

Long-standing servant Aaron Ramsey picked up a hamstring injury against Napoli in the Europa League Quarterfinals. That proved to be his last game for the London side before his transfer completion to Juventus as a free agent. Long-term absentees, Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin will sit on the sidelines. Danny Welbeck has returned to training, but his inclusion to the squad is still not confirmed.

SUSPENSIONS

Arsenal do not have any suspensions, but their attacker Henrikh Mkhitaryan will miss the game. Since there is a political dispute between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the 30-year-old has been ejected from the squad.

LIKELY XI

Arsenal: Petr Cech, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Lucas Torreira, Granit Xhaka, Sead Kolasinac, Mesut Ozil, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette.
