Arteta Left Seething After Ceballos-Luiz Feud Leaked, Warns Of Consequences: Arsenal’s manager left infuriated after reports of the bust-up hit the new
Prior to Arsenal’s upcoming scrimmage against Leeds United in the Premier League, news started filtering through from the club of a squabble between Dani Ceballos and Luiz. As per the news doing the rounds, both the players had been involved in a fracas during practice with both coming down to blows.
Ceballos Takes To Twitter To Deny The Reports
Dani Ceballos had been quick to slam the news of Luiz drawing blood from his nose courtesy of a scratch with the on loanmidfielder from Real Madrid citing the news as FALSE on Twitter. However, the club’s manager, Arteta confirmed that there was a disagreement between the two with tempers flaring.
Arteta Left Dismayed At The Incident’s Leak
Whilst Arteta was quicky to downplay the incident, terming it as nothing serious which had been resolved instantly, the Arsenal man was clearly livid at the manner in which the incident managed to find its way out of the club.
“Training is very competitive and issues happen a lot of times. Those things get resolved immediately within the team and there is not much to say. There is no problem at all,” Arteta said when asked about the feud.
I don’t like the fact that that incident comes out at all,” Arteta said ahead of Sunday’s Premier League match at Leeds United.
“I will find out where it is coming from and if that is the case, that goes completely against what I expect from each other, the privacy and the confidentiality that we need. There will be consequences,” he went onto add.
Ceballos’ Stay At Arsenal Marred By Tiffs
This isn’t the first time though that Ceballos has drawn attention to himself for the wrong reasons. Earlier in the season, he was involved in a fracas with Eddie Nketiah during practice as well.
Willian’s Trip To Dubai Adds To Arteta’s Problems
Arteta’s platter is full at the moment with Willian flouting COVID norms to embark on a vacation during the two week international break leaving the manager in a quagmire as well. With Coronavirus guidelines in place restricting all international travel currently, Willian made news after sharing pictures of his soiree on Instagram.
“I don’t confirm anything, that only it is an issue that has been resolved, explained and let’s move on,” he said when asked about the incident.
“Whatever happens internally with any issues, or things that we don’t expect, always we will try them internally. That has been dealt with and explained, and we move on.We had a conversation and I explained what I was expecting,” added Arteta.
“A lot of players are having different issues, like any public person out there, and sometimes they make decisions based on the needs or the moment or what people are expecting from there. Whether they are right or wrong, after obviously it is a thing we have to discuss. But, again, it has been dealt in the right way and let’s move on,” concluded Arteta.
