Arsenal News: Gunners interested in Real Madrid star with a £600million release clause and could make a move in the January transfer window.
Arsenal’s loss to Sheffield United last night has proven that they desperately lack creativity in the middle of the park. The team previously relied on Mesut Ozil to provide that spark. However, the German is currently out of favour at the Emirates.

The Gunners bought in several signings in their ranks this summer to help the club transform into Premier League contenders. However, their signings have so far failed to deceive and the club has often relied on Aubameyang to help pull them out of the ditch.
Nicolas Pepe has looked brilliant in flashes while David Luiz has done little to raise the club’s standards. Kieran Tierney is yet to play for the Gunners while Dani Ceballos has done well but not enough during his loan stay.
Arsenal are now looking at another Real Madrid star to help them pull through. They are however, not alone in the pursuit. Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are also likely to join the race for the star’s signatures.
Gunners interested in Real Madrid star with a £600million release clause
Spanish publication AS have reported that Spanish star Isco desires to leave Real Madrid and Arsenal and Manchester City are keenly following the developments. Isco has fallen down the pecking order in Zinedine Zidane’s side after the arrival of Eden Hazard.
With the team well set and players such as Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez, who had previously fallen out with the manager, performing well, Isco’s chance of breaking into the starting XI seem bleaker by the day.
This is a cause of concern for the Spaniard who has been told by Spain boss Robert Moreno that he needs to be playing regularly if he is to secure his spot in the Euro 2020 squad. With this in mind, Isco wants to leave on loan.
Arsenal are keen to bring the player to the Emirates in hopes to improve their standing in the Premier League and subsequent competitions. However, with Manchester City lurking in the side, they will have a hard time convincing the star.
However, Arsenal can provide Isco with the one thing that he is desperately looking for; regular playing time. Something he may not get in Pep Guardiola’s regularly rotating playing eleven.
