Arsenal team news vs Man Utd,

TheSportsRush brings Arsenal team news vs Man Utd, as Unai Emery’s side aims at maintaining the unbeaten run.

Arsenal are currently 4th in the Premier League after they returned to top-4 after a brilliant win against Tottenham. Unai Emery’s side put a spirited performance in the North London derby, as Arsenal came from one goal down at halftime to beat Tottenham 4-2.

Lucas Torreira scored his first goal for Arsenal since joining the club this summer. The Uruguayan midfielder scored a great goal from a difficult angle as he secured a win for Gunners in the derby.

Arsenal now face a trip to Old Trafford where they take on a depleted Manchester United side. Jose Mourinho’s men are in dismal form at the moment, as the side is currently 7th in the league, and are winless in their last three games.

Arsenal also receive a big boost in terms of injuries, as one major first-team star is set to return for the game.

Arsenal team news vs Man Utd:

Nacho Monreal has returned to full training after missing all of the Arsenal’s game since the end of the international break.

However, there was no sign of Mesut Ozil in the training. The former German international, like Monreal, has not appeared for Arsenal since the international break ended.

He was kept on the bench for the game against Bournemouth, and was not included for the game against Vorskla. Unai Emery later confirmed that the player was having back spasms, and was eventually left out of the squad against Tottenham.

Granit Xhaka has been suspended for the game against Manchester United. Shkodran Mustafi, meanwhile, also trained with the first team after limping off in the later stages of the North London derby.

Unai Emery stated in the press conference before the game that Arsenal need to prove that they’re stronger than Manchester United.

“The preparation for this match is also a big motivation for us. It gives me a big motivation for Wednesday. If we are stronger now, we need to [show that] on Wednesday,” Unai Emery said.
