Arsenal Transfer News: Arsenal considering to sign Chelsea superstar this summer

Arsenal Transfer News: Arsenal considering to make a shock signing of Chelsea superstar this summer to bolster their squad.

Arsenal are looking to hire new players this summer, after dealing with an underwhelming campaign last season, as they finished fifth in the league, and got a beating against Chelsea in the Europa league final.

Thus, missing out on the next edition of the Champions league. Further, the Gunners have not been provided with the ample amount of funds this summer.

Hence, the North London club have decided to spot cheap targets this summer. According to a report by the 90 min, Arsenal are thinking of hiring the services of Chelsea captain Gary Cahill from the Stamford Bridge this summer.

The 33-year-old centre back is about to become a free agent at the end of the month, thus just like Petr Cech, Arsenal can approach Cahill to join from city rivals.

If Unai Emery is genuinely considering to make a move for Cahill, then this is the right time to make a contact with the English International, as London rivals West Ham and Crystal Palace also want him.

Moreover, Cahill’s childhood club Aston Villa are also inquiring about his availability. Thus, this seems to be the right time for Arsenal to thwart further competition, as considering the heritage of Arsenal Cahill might join them.

However, his relationship and services for Chelsea might compel him to look at other club, but a good contract can surely give him a thought of considering the move.

On the other hand, defense has been a major issue with Arsenal this summer, and with Laurent Koscielny moving out, Arsenal need to fortify their back-line, and with meager budget, it is impossible to have quality defenders in such inflated market.

Hence, Cahill seems as a viable option for Arsenal this summer, with no obligation to deal with Chelsea to hire the player.
