Arsenal will look to bolster their side in the summer and have reportedly made contact with Welsh International Rabbi Matondo regarding a potential move to North London according to Todo Fichajes.

Matondo currently plies his trade for German club Schalke. He has notched up 23 appearances in all competitions for Schalke. 16 of them have come this season, with 14 in the 2019-20 Bundesliga.
The 19-year old previously played for Manchester City. He turned down a new deal after failing to make a single senior appearance at the club.
On 30 January 2019, he moved to the Bundesliga following a reported fee of up to £11 million on a four-and-a-half-year deal.
Several clubs interested
The Spanish report adds that Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea are also interested in bringing in the winger. However, Arsenal may hold the edge here with Arteta and Matondo having worked together previously during their time at Manchester City.
The Spaniard also worked with him back in 2015 when he coached the Wales Under-16’s as part of his coaching A Licence.
Bringing him will not be an easy task though.
Schalke view the teenager as a highly rated prospect. It is likely they will do everything in their power to keep a hold of him. With the coronavirus pandemic affecting the finances of several clubs, it is also hard to see the Gunners letting lose their purse strings this summer.
However, Matondo, is exactly the kind of player Arsenal need right now. He is a talented, pacey young winger with great running ability and dribbling skills; often leaving defenders trailing on both the left or right flank.
