Arsenal Transfer News: Sporting Director confirms Gunners have singed 19-year old forward ahead of the Premier League’s return.
Arsenal seem to have made their first transfer of the season. 19-year old George Lewis has signed with the Gunners according to Fram Larvik’s sporting director Jostein Jensen. The young forward had a trial session with the North London club at the beginning of March and it appears that he did enough to impress them.

“Yes, we can confirm that [Lewis has signed an Arsenal contract]. I have been told that he has signed for Arsenal. We wish George good luck,” Jensen Norwegian outlet VG per Evening Standard.
The youngster featured 5 times for Fram Larvick, a club that plays in the third division of Norwegian football.
Arsenal have previously signed youngsters from lesser known clubs and have developed them for the Premier League.
Players such as Matteo Guendouzi and Gabriel Martinelli, were relatively unknown when they signed with the Gunners. However, they have developed extremely well at the North London club.
The same will be expected from the Norwegian teen, who was born in Rwanda but moved to Norway as a child.
The deal is however, yet to be confirmed by Arsenal.
If and when the announcement is made, it is likely that he will feature in club’s Under 23 side, managed by Steve Bould in the coming season as he looks to be integrated into the first team should he impress on that level.
