Arsenal’s dream run continues as they bagged their seventh consecutive victory in all competitions with a win against Watford. Unai Emery’s side broke the deadlock after over 80 minutes but soon doubled the lead to secure three points at the Emirates Stadium.
Watford were unfortunate for the first goal, as the ball deflected off Craig Cathcart’s legs into the goal to give Arsenal the lead. Minutes later, Arsenal doubled the lead when Lacazette put a terrific cross for Mesut Ozil to net the ball past Watford’s goalkeeper, Ben Foster.
Unai Emery’s side have now registered their fifth win in the Premier League this season. Arsenal’s campaign this season is seemingly back on track after a disastrous start to the league.
Arsenal lost both of their opening games to Manchester City and Chelsea respectively, but are since yet to drop points in the Premier League. Arsenal have 15 points from seven games in the league.
