Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger will be keen to go all the way in the Europa League this season, as the Frenchman knows that his side’s entire season is crystallized into this competition.

The fact that Wenger has never lifted an European trophy should only give him more incentive this season, as the under fire manager needs to prove that he still has the aptitude to manage a club as big as Arsenal.

Wenger was under enormous pressure to leave at the end of his contract after a disappointing finish with Arsenal last season. The Frenchman’s saving grace was the Gunners’ surprise FA Cup triumph in the last match of the season, as Wenger secured Arsenal’s third FA Cup in four years.

But with the club certain to finish outside the top four this year as well, Wenger may have to accept the fact that he is not the right man anymore, and a Europa League triumph could be the perfect farewell for the man.

Wenger’s another pressing worry is Jack Wilshere’s future, as the Arsenal academy product may leave at the end of his contract this year. Wilshere and Arsenal are still miles apart in their negotiations, and the club are starting to accept that Jack could no longer be an Arsenal player come next season.

There are doubts surrounding Aaron Ramsey’s contract situation as well, as the Welshman wants a highly improved contract at the club.

After Mesut Ozil’s record breaking new contract saw the German earn 350,000 Pounds/Week, Ramsey wants a pay rise on his current 110,000 Pounds/Week contract, to something close to 250,000.

Arsenal are not keen on that, which is why they might consider selling the injury prone, but still extremely talented midfielder. Wenger is looking at Real Madrid’s Dani Ceballos as a replacement, as the Frenchman is a big fan of the young midfielder.
