AUS vs ENG Dream11 Prediction : England vs Australia 4th Ashes Test Best Dream 11 Team Today

AUS vs ENG Dream11 Team Prediction: Both the teams will be looking to gain a lead in the penultimate Test of the series.

The fourth Test of the ongoing 2019 Ashes series between England and Australia will be played tomorrow at Old Trafford in Manchester. Coming on the back of a nerve-wrenching 1-wicket victory against Australia in the third Test at Headingley, England would be looking to continue the momentum.

On the contrary, Australia will be banking on the return of premier batsman Steve Smith. Having won the series back home in 2017, all Australia need is another victory to make sure that they retain the series irrespective of what happens in the last Test at The Oval.

Team News

Australia have announced a 12-member squad for the fourth Test. Among the main changes include the return of Steve Smith in place of Usman Khawaja. Fast bowler James Pattinson has also been benched which means that Australia will play three pacers out of Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Peter Siddle and Mitchell Starc.

England captain Joe Root confirmed on the eve of the match that Craig Overton will play ahead of Chris Woakes. England will also swap batting position between Jason Roy and Joe Denly.

Probable Playing XI

Australia

1) David Warner 2) Marcus Harris 3) Marnus Labuschagne 4) Steve Smith 5) Travis Head 6) Matthew Wade 7) Tim Paine (c & wk) 8) Pat Cummins 9) Nathan Lyon 10) & 11) Josh Hazlewood / Peter Siddle / Mitchell Starc

England

1) Rory Burns 2) Joe Denly 3) Joe Root (c) 4) Jason Roy 5) Ben Stokes 6) Jos Buttler 7) Jonny Bairstow (wk) 8) Chris Overton 9) Jofra Archer 10) Jack Leach 11) Stuart Broad

Players to watch out for

Australia – Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, Josh Hazlewood

England – Rory Burns, Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer

Pitch Conditions and Toss Prediction

The Old Trafford surface is likely to assist the batsmen throughout the match. Despite the lack of grass on the pitch, it is likely to aid the fast bowlers. The third day of the Test might see some showers pouring down. At the toss, the winning captain is likely to elect to bat first.

AUS vs ENG Dream11 Wicket-keepers

My solitary wicket-keeper batsman for this match is England’s Jos Buttler. While I wanted to pick Jonny Bairstow, I couldn’t do it due to a budget constraint.

It is worth mentioning that Buttler’s average in the fourth Test of a series is the best among any other match. In four such Tests, Buttler has scored 254 runs at an average of 50.80 and a strike rate of 57.59 including three half-centuries.

AUS vs ENG Dream11 Batsmen

Among the Australian batsmen, I have selected the tried and tested combination of opening batsman David Warner and Steve Smith. While the former scoring a half-century gave hints of him finding some form in Tests, the latter’s record in the series has it in it to included him in my fantasy squad.

Jason Roy, who will bat at his preferred No. 4 position tomorrow, is expected to do well at a position where he bats for Surrey in county cricket. Having scored 242 runs at an average of 40.33 and a strike rate of 42.23 including one century and half-century each, Rory Burns has been one of the best English batsmen in this series.

All-rounders for AUS vs ENG Dream11

England all-rounder Ben Stokes was prolific in Leeds with his match-winning eighth Test century. Having scored 327 runs in three Tests at an average of 81.75 and a strike rate of 60.22 including two centuries and a half-century, Stokes has been the hosts’ best batsmen in the series.

If one Australian player has impressed in this series, it is all-rounder Marnus Labuschagne. The right-hand batsman has scored three consecutive half-centuries in as many innings to impress one and all. Slated to bat at No. 3, Labuschagne might just win you those extra points.

Bowlers for AUS vs ENG Dream11

Australia co vice-captain Pat Cummins has been the highest wicket-taker so far in the series. His 17 wickets have come at an average of 18.52, an economy rate of 2.71 and a strike rate of 41. Also a handy customer with the bat, Cummins is a must for your Dream 11 fantasy team.

Having picked his seventh Test five-wicket haul at Headingley, Australia fast bowler Josh Hazlewood has entered my team by default. The right-arm pacer’s discipline will be vital for the visitors’ chances tomorrow. Much like Hazlewood, England fast bowler Jofra Archer is another automatic selection in my team.

I am also backing Overton for this match. In the remaining price of eight credits, I could only afford him as a specialist bowler.
