Barcelona endured a tough night at Greece, with the red-walled Olympiacos defence not leaving a thread of space for Luis Suarez or Lionel Messi to score.
The impeccable defence had a tough night in Greece, but they would be more than satisfied with their performance against the group-toppers with the Greece side currently sitting at 4th position in the league.
While Barcelona had a few positives to draw from the night, it was mostly negative points which the Catalan side had to pick up.

One such negative point was the injury to Barca’s versatile midfielder Sergi Roberto, who played the match at a slightly more advanced role on the wing with Luis Suarez’s terrible finish being the difference between a point and three for the Catalan side.
Barcelona has released a statement saying that Sergi Roberto strained his hamstring in the goalless draw against Olympiakos.
The midfielder was withdrawn from the game at half-time following his injury during the dying moments of the first half with winger Gerard Deulofeu replacing the midfielder.
The winger provided the pace required for the Catalan side to cause a problem or two for the home side, but the lack of incisiveness led to Barcelona’s first group-stage stalemate in five years. The last time Barcelona drew a blank was against Benfica.
A further test on Wednesday will decide the time out for Roberto:
The Catalan club says further tests will take place on Wednesday to determine the full extent of the injury and how long the player will be sidelined.
The statement said: “Sergio Roberto had to be substituted at the end of the first half against Olympiacos as he has a hamstring strain in his right leg.
“On Wednesday, the Barça midfielder will have more tests to find out the exact extent of the injury. The man from Reus in Catalonia injured himself when defending just before the break and was replaced by Gerard Deulofeu.”
Barcelona has already had several injury-affected players with captain Iniesta too recovering from the side strain he suffered ahead of Barcelona’s clash against Valverde’s former team Athletic Club Bilbao.
