Barcelona Transfer News: Barcelona offer Coutinho and Dembele for Neymar. They have also added a further €40 million to PSG secure the move.
Neymar, in recent times, has made it very clear that he does not want to associate himself with the Parisan club anymore. He called Barcelona his home in an interview recently and openly regretted his decision to leave Camp Nou.
To make matters worse for him in the French Capital, the Brazilian has claimed that his proudest moment as a player was when Barcelona beat PSG 6-1 in the champions league. Neymar was in the Barcelona fold at the time. The 6-1 victory helped them overturn the 4-0 loss they suffered in the first leg.
Does Barcelona want Neymar?
The people in Neymar’s close circle are worried that Barcelona are not keen to bring back Neymar to Catalonia. However, according to a report from AS, Barcelona have offered Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele to PSG. They have also offered €40 million to buy Neymar back.

Coutinho and Dembele are two of the most highly valued players in the club even after seeing a drop in their value. For Barcelona to offer them plus cash is a very clear indication that they want him to turn out for them this season.
No less than 300 million Euros!
However, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has dismissed the bid. They have reported that the French champions are looking for a bid in the region of 300 million euros and will not entertain any offers under it.
Having just taken a loan for the purchase of Antoine Griezman, Barcelona have virtually no money left in the kitty. It will be interesting to see if PSG are just playing hardball and will eventually relent. Or even what methods Barcelona employ to gather the funds.
