Real Madrid’s shocking season has taken another blow, as the defending champions dropped two more points against Levante away.

Isco’s goal in the 81st minute seemingly secured the three points for Los Blancos, as Zidane looked relieved to finally win a match. But Levante’s Pazzini equalized in the 89th minute, to leave Zidane and Madrid immensely frustrated.

Barcelona on the other hand look unstoppable right now, as the Catalan side are steam rolling every team that comes in front of them. Messi and Suarez are hitting top form right now, with Philippe Coutinho yet to fully incorporate himself in the team just yet.

Real Madrid are clearly in crisis this season, as Zidane has been unable to stem the run of defeats for his side. After the loss, Zidane had to explain his decision to substitute Ronaldo during the game, as it came as a big surprise to everyone.

“No. It was planned to change him, and that’s all,” Zidane told beIN SPORTS after the match.

“We had the game under control, the most difficult is to score goals. We got to 2-1, but in the end, two mistakes cost us the two goals.

“This year is being difficult for us. We cannot put three or four results together. I am not happy with the result. We were in control of the game, above all the first half, so not happy, of course.

“The pity is that after we scored our second goal, we were not able to keep hold of the ball, and defensively we were not good.”

“I changed him as I wanted another player a bit more in the middle of the pitch, to defend with Marco Asensio and Karim [Benzema].”

Now we hear that Real Madrid are looking at Real Sociedad’s Alvaro Odriozola in the summer, as they are looking to trigger his 35 Million pounds release clause.

Odriozola is an extremely talented player who is destined for greener pastures. His performances this year have impressed one and all, including Barcelona’s Lionel Messi.

The Argentine has now asked his club to buy the talented right-back, as Messi does not want him to move to Real Madrid.
