Bhuvneshwar Kumar will miss the second test match against Sri Lanka
Indian fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar is likely to miss the second test match against Sri Lanka as he is reportedly going to marry his fiance Nupur Nagar on November 23.
Bhuvi will miss the second test in Nagpur as he will have to attend a reception that will take place only three days later.
The fast bowler has slowly but surely climbed up the ranks as Bhuvi is now the spearhead of the Indian bowling attack. Not only has he become a front line new ball bowler, Bhuvi’s knack of picking up wickets at the death overs has seen him become a huge asset for his side.

“The wedding will take place in Meerut, and it will be attended by family and close friends. But we want Bhuvneshwar’s teammates and members from the Board to also take part in celebrations, which is why we will have a reception in Delhi for them. We are sure everybody will attend it because the entire team will be in Delhi from November 30 for the Sri Lanka series,” Kiran Pal Singh was quoted as saying by the news outlet.
The absence of Bhuvneshwar in the line up will be a big blow as he would be the second star after Hardik Pandya who will not be taking part in the test match. Pandya was rested as the selectors were giving him a break as part of the rotational policy for the players.
It was earlier reported that Virat Kohli would be rested for the series But those reports have proved to be wrong as Virat Kohli will lead India against Sri Lanka in the test series starting in a couple of days.
