Here are some of the Twitter reactions as Brazil knock out Argentina to reach Copa America final.
Brazil beat Argentina to step into the Copa America final for the first time in 12 years. The Selecao were the second-best team on the pitch, but they managed to convert the chances.
Tite’s side started the game on a higher note, but Argentina came close to taking an early lead through their midfielder Leandro Parades. The ball sailed over the crossbar, but, on the other side, Brazil took their lead through Gabriel Jesus.
When Dani Alves dragged three defenders to find Roberto Firmino in the wings, Argentina’s defence was totally stretched. Brazil striker did not need the second touch as he found Jesus inside the six-yard box. Manchester City’s striker scored from close range to hand over the lead in the first half.
Argentina hit the post twice through Sergio Aguero and Lionel Messi, but they were not able to create clear-cut chances apart from those. Philippe Coutinho had an easy chance, but failed to convert it from close range in the second half. However, Gabriel Jesus’ powerful run from the middle of the pitch to overrun two defenders and find Roberto Firmino was top class.
When Liverpool’s striker had a chance to tap-in, he did that with perfection to extend Brazil’s lead in the second half. It was a freak game, but Tite will be a relieved man.
It will be Brazil’s first appearance in the Copa America final since 2007.
Here are some of the Twitter reactions after Lionel Messi’s exit from the competition yet again.
9 Clean Sheets in a row for Alisson in all competitions, making 24 saves
In that time he has faced Messi, twice
6 of them have come for Brazil
But supposedly he’s only good because he has Van Dijk in front of him pic.twitter.com/1VhHRjWSpm

To the inevitable (and slightly tedious) debate (which I can’t believe I’m contributing to and which I will now go to sleep and ignore)…
Imagine Brazil win Copa America, even more so if on penalties with decisive saves….
Alisson, Balon d’Or?

In less than 2 years, Alisson has eliminated Messi 3 times in a row with 3 different teams. AS Roma (2017-18 UCL), Liverpool (2018-19 UCL) & Brazil (2019 Copa America) 🤔👍🏻
