Cesc Fabregas acknowledged that he has invented a new pass technique as he bamboozled the Lyon defender in the Ligue 1 game.
Cesc Fabregas joined Monaco in the January transfer window after almost five years with Chelsea.
The French side has had a disastrous season so far, but things have begun to improve since the last few months. After parting ways with Thierry Henry, Monaco chose to call Leonardo Jardim back. The side remained unbeaten this month, and also registered a 2-0 victory over the third-placed Lyon.
Cesc Fabregas has been a key part of Monaco’s midfield ever since joining the side.
The Spanish midfielder bamboozled the defender and fans alike with an impressive piece of skill during the game against Lyon.
He claims he has invented a “new way of passing” in a brilliant show of technique.
The Spanish midfielder trod the ball as soon as he received it and slipped it past Tanguy Ndombele, who could do nothing to intercept.

Cesc Fabregas has been impressive ever since joining AS Monaco, scoring a goal in his six appearances for the side. Monaco is currently 16th in the Ligue 1 table, and remain five points above the relegation zone.
Fabregas joined Monaco when Thierry Henry was the manager of the side, but the midfielder seems to be working well under Leonardo Jardim.
Here’s how Twitter reacted:
