Chelsea gift 3rd goal to Everton after comedy of errors from Kepa

Chelsea gift 3rd goal to Everton after comedy of errors from Kepa during the Premier League clash at Goodison Park. This is Chelsea’s 3rd loss in their last 4 PL games.

Chelsea were one of, if not the most exciting team to watch this season before the international break. Since their return however, they have only managed to win on one occasion and have lost 3 games while drawing their Champions League match vs Valencia.

Their victory came earlier in the week when both Tammy Abraham scored a goal each to help them overcome Aston Villa 2-1. Chelsea would themselves succumb to a loss on Saturday while taking on Everton, who started the day in the relegation zone.

It was not that Chelsea played bad; it was just that they allowed their opponents back in the match just like they have been doing recently. In fact. At one point, it seemed that Chelsea would not only equalise but go on to win the match.

They were trailing 2-1 and with Chelsea looking dangerous a quick goal would have shifted the pressure back to the Toffees. Instead however, Chelsea lost their momentum after conceding their third goal in the 84th minute.

Goal keeper Kepa attempted to start play from the back.  The World’s costliest goalkeeper however, played the ball straight to Theo Walcott, who played Calvert-Lewin in. Calvert-Lewin backheeled the ball to Davies. The midfielder slipped but the ball somehow found its way to Calvert-Lewin who somehow got the ball to enter the back of the net.

Chelsea are still 4th place in the table but now find themselves 14 points behind Liverpool who are currently playing their match. Everton on the other hand, have ended their three match losing streak and will hope to end their season with some stability.
