"I don't want to make some kneejerk reaction to say: 'Here's my first big signing' because we couldn't sign anyone in the summer. No, I want to do the right thing for the club. "That's why if I do it I'll try to consider all things. Hopefully it's the best thing for us. Whether that's more of a short-term option or a long-term option, we'll also have to consider."

Chelsea trolls its fans with 3 singing announcement. The club had it’s transfer embargo revoked but are yet to dip their feet in the transfer market.

Chelsea fans were overjoyed when Chelsea’s ban was reversed early last month. However, the club have refrained from making any purchase thus far in the January transfer market. With just a week left into the month, the club finally announced a signing. However, it was far from what the fans expected.

Chelsea announced a shirt sponsorship deal with mobile phone network Three on their social media with the caption:

“You wait 24 days for a signing and then Three come along at once!”

This triggered various responses from fans, some of whom failed to see the funny side while many were left in splits.

Three will replace Yokohoma from the start of the next season after 5 years of partnership with the club. Chelsea’s deal with Three is expected to be in the region of £40m.

Despite a brilliant start, Chelsea have been struggling off late. However, manager Frank Lampard has already said that the club will not make any panic signings.

“I don’t want to make some kneejerk reaction to say: ‘Here’s my first big signing’ because we couldn’t sign anyone in the summer. No, I want to do the right thing for the club.

“That’s why if I do it I’ll try to consider all things. Hopefully it’s the best thing for us. Whether that’s more of a short-term option or a long-term option, we’ll also have to consider,” Lampard said last week.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
