Chelsea vs Bournemouth prediction

TheSportsRush brings Chelsea vs Bournemouth prediction as Maurizio Sarri’s side aims to leave for international break with a win.

Chelsea return to the Stamford Bridge on Saturday following a hard fought victory against Newcastle United. The victory at St. James’ Park means that Chelsea are one of the handful of sides still to have the 100% record in the Premier League intact. Meanwhile, Bournemouth are also unbeaten with two wins and a draw to their name.

Chelsea have claimed the scalps of Huddersfield Town, Arsenal and Newcastle United over their three matches. Meanwhile, the Cherries have been victorious against Cardiff City and West Ham and had to settle for a point against Everton last weekend.

It was a surprising results when the two teams faced off in the Stamford Bridge the last time as Bournemouth hammered Chelsea by a 3-0 score line. James Wilson, Junior Stanislas and Nathan Ake were all on target in a thirteen minute goal blitz. However, Chelsea look a lot more organised and stable now than they were back in February.

PREDICTION

Betway has favoured Chelsea to get a win by 1.29/1 odd while Bournemouth are tipped for all the three points by a 10/1 probability. According to SportPesa, the Blues are likely to win by 5/19 and Eddie Howe’s men have a chance of 37/4.

Maurizio Sarri’s men have scored eight goals in their last three matches and I predict a 2-0 win for them. The likes of David Luiz, Antonio Rudiger, Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso should be able to keep the Bournemouth forwards at bay as they usually score only through set piece situations.

On the other hand, Chelsea have a fully fit squad following the returns of Eden Hazard and Mateo Kovacic to full match fitness. In addition, Bournemouth will be without Adam Smith, who is a vital cog for the Cherries. Three points for Chelsea will certainly not come in a comfortable way but the Blues will eventually get it by a tough fight.
