Chile Vs Peru Dream11 Prediction

Formation: 3-4-3

GOALKEEPER

Gabriel Arias: Arias has played all 4 games for Chile, and has kept 2 clean sheets in the progress. He’s the more agile and talented of the two first-choice keepers available for selection in this game, and is the safer bet to concede no goals, too.

DEFENDERS

Gary Medel: Besiktas Captain, Medel is a physical specimen. He’s strong, fast and quite agile for a centre half. He’s also worked on his discipline and gets a lot less bookings. The 31-year-old is a skilled tackler and is sure to give us tackle points, too.

Luis Advíncula: Rayo Vallecano right back Advíncula is strong, fast and a pretty good crosser. He likes to stay up the pitch and track back to stop counter attacks from the opposition. He’s a good buy for just 8.5Cr.

Mauricio Isla: Despite being 31 years old, Isla shows an insane amount of stamina in every game he plays. He starts as a right back for Chile and his attacking trait means he’ll be seen far up on the wing. He’s already given one assist and 5 key passes and is a major threat for the opposition defence.

MIDFIELDERS

Charles Aránguiz: Aránguiz has been the key player for Chile in this bout. He’s been almost unplayable at central midfield, giving 3 assists and creating 14(!) goal scoring opportunities. His phenomenal numbers means he’s my Vice Captain for the game.

Christian Cueva: the 27-year-old is another very good creative midfielder that will be present in this game. He’s been Peru’s engine at AM, and his 9 key passes in the tournament are evidence to the same. Unfortunately though, of these 9 opportunities, only 1 has been converted.

Erick Pulgar: Pulgar is a defender by trait but has recently made his name at defensive midfield. He likes to move forward while playing this role and often gets into scoring positions, like against Japan.

Renato Tapia: Tapia features for Peru in a double pivot and uses his vision and accurate passing from deep to create chances for forwards. He’s talented, intelligent and has age on his side. There’s a good chance he’ll move to a bigger club soon.

FORWARDS

Alexis Sanchez(C): Alexis is Chile’s main man in every tournament and has proven the same this time around as well. While he had a disappointing season with his club, he plays on a completely elevated level with his country. He already has 2 goals and an assist in 4 starts and has created 9 key passes, too.

Eduardo Vargas: Vargas is a very talented centre forward and has shown exceptional off the ball movement in his career. He is a recipient of the Golden Ball and Golden Boot already in a previous edition and his two goals in this edition might just lead him to another.

Paolo Guerrero:  Guerrero is extremely experienced and the most dangerous player for Peru. He has the ability of creating something even out of bad passes and chances because of his movement and finishing. Even though he has only one goal in the tournament, he’s still a very good bet to score and create more.
